College Fellow in Human Evolutionary Biology

Position Description:  The Department of Human Evolutionary Biology seeks applications for a College Fellow in Human Evolutionary Biology, specializing in human biology or physiology.

The appointment is expected to begin on July 1, 2017.  The College Fellow will have teaching responsibilities, with 25 percent of the appointment reserved for the Fellow’s own research.  Teaching duties will include teaching three courses or their equivalents.  This will likely involve some combination of a lecture course, undergraduate seminar, one or more sections of sophomore tutorial, and section teaching in a department foundation course.  The Fellow might advise and evaluate senior theses.

Candidates are required to have a doctorate of an equivalent terminal degree by the expected start-date. The appointment is for one year, with the possibility of renewal for a second year, contingent on performance, position availability, curricular need, and divisional dean authorization.
