My research sits at the intersection of ethology and epidemiology, using behavior to better understand disease exposure in a variety of hosts. My current interests include rodent, primate, and human disease ecology, as well as their roles in emerging infectious disease threats; animal personality and culture (i.e. innovation, social learning); global/one health intervention and outreach; and open science initiatives, increasing access to collaboration tools and research findings around the globe.
