**1.** Review our [concentration requirements](http://lifesciences.fas.harvard.edu/heb-requirements) and currently offered courses to familiarize yourself with the HEB curriculum. You may find it useful to fill out an [8 semester academic plan](/file_url/529) using the [HEB Course Planner worksheet](/files/heb.harvard.edu/files/heb_reqworksheet_22_23.pdf) (use this version for the [Mind/Brain/Behavior Track](/files/heb.harvard.edu/files/heb_reqworksheet_mbb_22_23.pdf)) as you learn about the program.

**2.** Submit an [HEB Declaration Interest Form](https://forms.office.com/r/7xpr5yhaE8) to let us know that you are interested in joining HEB, and check for upcoming [HEB events on the Harvard College Calendar](https://calendar.college.harvard.edu/department/human_evolutionary_biology).

**3.** [Meet with our concentration advisor Dr. Andrew Yegian (Calendly.com/ayegian)](/calendly.com/ayegian) to talk about the HEB program and your academic plan! You can find information on the HEB program office location and how to set up a meeting on the [Contact Us](https://lifesciences.fas.harvard.edu/heb-contact-us) page.

**4.** Submit a Declaration of Concentration request on my.harvard (instructions [here](https://harvard.service-now.com/ithelp?id=kb_article&sys_id=529e5ecadb6f4f04a914fff31d96190c)).

**5.** Celebrate! – you’re now part of the HEB community!
