Michelle studies how evolutionary mismatches between small-scale and urban-industrial cultural environments shape the lives and well-being of adolescents and young adults. Before joining HEB, she received her B.A. in English and Computer Science from Columbia University and worked as a research coordinator in the UCLA Department of Psychology. Outside the lab, Michelle enjoys yoga and cooking.
