Dr. George (PJ) Perry (Assistant professor of Anthropology and Biology, Penn State University), will be visiting HEB to give a lecture as part of the department's spring colloquium lecture series. The lecture is titled, "Evolutionary and extinction genomics of Malagasy lemurs."

Dr. Perry's research uses genomic, ecological, and morphological data from extant and extinct lemurs to study both the longer-term evolutionary ecology of Madagascar's primates and the shorter-term population and evolutionary responses of these species to human ecological impacts.
