Brain scans reveal how selective breeding and individual training have forged canine communication skills. Postdoctoral fellow Mélina Cordeau and Associate Professor of Human Evolutionary Biology Erin Hecht hypothesized that dogs’ brains have been shaped by their relationships with humans.
