I'm an evolutionary biologist and biomechanist. My research uses techniques and principles of biomechanics, anatomy and physiology, and evolution to study the effects of physical activity and aging on the musculoskeletal system, with particular focus on the spine. Over the years, I have taught lab sections of courses in anatomy and physiology, evolutionary biology, and biomechanics.
