Mira obtained her B.S. in Biology at Utrecht University in The Netherlands. She began her Ph.D. in the Human Evolutionary Biology department in 2021. Mira is broadly interested in knowing what makes human brains different from other animals. Specifically, her interest lies in understanding how sociality has impacted human brain evolution. Outside of the lab, Mira enjoys playing soccer and guitar.
